The New Normal: Covid-19
What is happening behind the scenes..

What is happening here at Bridge View!

Since the 2020 started an event change the world. The outbreak of Covid-19 virus which has caused all countries to go into lockdown.
This lockdown has initatied people and business are having to rethink the way they are doing things. Here at Bridge View Osteopaths we are no exception to the rule.

Out with the old and in with the NEW NORMAL.

We have a new uniform...
We will be wearing tops that we can change between every patient. We will also be wearing PPE, which in layman terms is gear that can make us look a little bit scary, something out of movie.

DON'T BE SCARED ... we are the same CRAZY, CARING OSTEOPATHS underneath it all.
After washing our hands and bear arms thoroughly ,we will be donning a new clean top, a plastic disposable apron, a IIR waterproof surgical mask, Face shield or safe specs, and disposable gloves.

When you arrive please wait in the car and we will come and get you.
As we will be cleaning and sanitising the couch, which is now covered in a PVC wipeable cover. We will be disinfecting the the wipeable/washable pillows even the ones in the room the haven't been used. Washing the floor in treatment room toilet and waiting room area, all the door handles, desks card machine, seats hand sanitiser pumps get cleaned disinfectant.

When we get you from your car please wear a face mask/covering. This can be a home made cloth/dust or bought mask.

On a little side note; Masks don't work the way you think they do.
Thats right....! They don't stop you get it, but the help Prevent you spreading it. So my masks protects you and your mask Protects me.
The virus is spread by droplets which come out of our mouth when we talk, couch, sneezing, so the mask catches those droplets before they go into the air surrounding you, thus preventing the spread.

When you come in you will be directed to the toilet to allow you to wash your hands.
The treatment hasn't changed we are still the same people underneath it all.
